Our mission is to build high quality residential homes that exceeds the Texas residential building standards and oriented to the geography and climate of the Houston gulf coast area.  We conduct our businesses with the utmost integrity and work in good faith with our customers, subcontractors and suppliers.  We seek to ensure that  our customers have a full understanding of all relevant contracts, specifications, warranties and costs.  We endeavor to maintain accuracy in our advertising and to take care not to be misleading.  We assume these responsibilities freely and solemnly, mindful that they are part of our obligation to the free enterprise system and the American Way of Life.

 

 

Our Company

HighMark Custom Homes was founded with the goal of achieving success as a small volume Custom home builder.  Strategically positioned in the custom home building market allows us to enhance our focus to our clients and on the quality of our craftsmanship. HighMark Custom Homes was founded in January, 1997 and is owned, managed and operated by it's founder, Rickey Davis. Mr. Davis recognized a need for building techniques oriented to the geography and climate of Houston and the Gulf Coast area.  The goal of HighMark Custom Homes is to offer clients a true custom builder. We build to our customer's specification; with the mandate that each finished home be a source of pride to both the company and its clients.

HighMark Custom Homes is a proud member of the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA). The GHBA, chartered in 1941, is a trade organization representing all aspects of the residential building industry. GHBA's 1,600 members are builders, developers, remodelers and associates, which include subcontractors and service organizations. Representing more than 90,000 employees, GHBA is one of the largest and most active residential building associations in the country. The association strives to enhance the business climate for its members and provide, quality obtainable housing to the community through government interaction and educational seminars held year-round at GHBA.

 

HHighMark Custom Homes is also a member of the Texas Residential Construction Commission whihc provides Texas Homeowners and the residential construction industry an opportunity to resolve differences through a neutral dispute resolution process and ongoing education. The state-sponsored inspection and dispute resolution process (SIRP) is a neutral administrative process available to resolve post-construction disputes between builders and homeowners prior to pursuing other legal action.

Founded in 1946, Texas Association of Builders (TAB) is an affiliate of the National Association of Home Builders and has 31 local Home Builders Associations across Texas. With a membership of more than 10,000 representing 500,000 jobs and $9 billion of the Texas economy, the Texas Association of Builders plays a crucial role in providing housing for Texans. HighMark Custom Homes is proud to be an affiliated member to TAB.

HighMark Custom Homes as developed a close relationship with the The Real Estate Cafe. The Real Estate Cafe works hand-in-hand with HighMark Custom Homes to help clients find land to build on, sell their current residences if necessary and helps to market their new home if they choose to sell it for a profit. During their custom home building consultations at the Cafe clients are introduced to the comprehensive process of building a custom home; land acquisition, land development, interior and exterior selection, allowances, contracts and the budget.  The Real Estate Cafe also guides our clients through the financing process of purchasing a lot, building a home, and providing a permanent loan with a  one-time close at competitive prices through their in-house financing.
